Il 12 marzo si apre il public program della mostra “E non dono celeste” di Cristina Lavosi.
Vi aspettiamo dalle 17.30 per una visita alla mostra e per guardare insieme le due nuove produzioni video.
Dalle 18.30, una discussione aperta su violenza e dispositivi di sicurezza, insieme ad attivistə e realtà di Torino.
Che cosa succede a Torino in nome della sicurezza? Che cosa significa sentirsi al sicuro, e per chi? Ce lo chiediamo insieme, con realtà e persone che abitano il territorio, portando i nostri posizionamenti, anche diversi, nello stesso luogo. Giustizia trasformativa significa anche concepire alternative alla punizione e all’isolamento: parleremo di spazi sociali, di ambienti safe(r) e brave(r), di cosa si perde quando questi vengono erosi o sottratti.

On March 12 the public program of the exhibition “E non dono celeste” by Cristina Lavosi opens.
We welcome you from 17:30 for a visit to the show and to watch together the two new video productions.
From 18:30, an open discussion on violence and security devices, together with activists and groups from Turin.
“What is happening in Turin in the name of security? What does it mean to feel safe, and for whom? We will explore these questions together with groups, people, and activists who inhabit the territory, bringing our different positions into the same space. Transformative justice also means imagining alternatives to punishment and isolation: we will talk about social spaces, safe(r) and brave(r) environments, and what is lost when these spaces are eroded or taken away.”
