On Thursday, December 18 from 7:00 PM, we welcome you to our library for the final act of Bo Wielders’ residency, a researcher and artist who has been with us throughout November and December 2025.

Bo has been working around the idea of “story as an organizing tool,” continuing her research on library systems and exploring alternative ways to structure and index archives.

For the open studio, Bo will present and read the unreleased text “Height Map of Yesterday”, written from a selection of books from the Gail and Rosangela Cochrane collection. For each book, she created a bookmark, together forming a single narrative. The reading will be followed by a dinner prepared by Bo and the Almanac team.

The reading will be held in English.

Giovedì 18 dicembre dalle ore 19.00 vi aspettiamo nella nostra biblioteca per l’atto conclusivo della residenza di Bo Wielders, ricercatrice e artista che è stata con noi per i mesi di novembre e dicembre 2025.

Bo ha lavorato intorno all’idea di “storia come strumento organizzativo”, proseguendo così la sua ricerca sui sistemi bibliotecari e sull’esplorazione di modalità alternative per strutturare e indicizzare gli archivi.

Per l’open studio Bo esporrà disegni e note e leggerà il testo inedito “Height Map of Yesterday” scritto a partire dalla rielaborazione di una selezione di libri della collezione Gail and Rosangela Cochrane, per i quali ha prodotto una sequenza di segnalibri che insieme formano un’unica storia. Alla reading seguirà una cena conviviale preparata da Bo e dal team di Almanac.

La reading si terrà in lingua inglese.
