Bar Tango is a new sculptural installation and performance work by Benni Bosetto, curated by Almanac with Giulia Civardi.

The project will be presented for the first time in Turin on 30 October 2026, from 9:30 pm to midnight, with a durational performance at Club Almagro, Via Perugia 20, 10152 Turin.

Through costumes, sculptures, scenographic elements and a sound composition, Bar Tango explores the corporeality of love through the notions of intoxication, hybridisation and coexistence. Tango becomes a language through which to question seduction, identity and codified roles, transforming the body into a permeable, unstable space in a state of constant metamorphosis.

Upcoming presentations will take place at Nottingham Contemporary, Triennale Milano, Haus der Kunst, and der TANK – Institute Art Gender Nature, HGK Basel FHNW.

At the end of its journey, Bar Tango will become part of the collection of MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna.
