Saints Comètes 01 is a reading group by Ethereal Society of Poetry. A selection of poems, curated by Deborah Martino, will serve as a starting point to read and discuss works by female authors who, throughout their lives, have dedicated themselves to the exploration of the soul, the eternal, and rebirth. The selected poems, often imbued with images and analogies between the vegetal and the celestial, outline a dialogue with the divine, revealing a spiritual and mystical journey of self and body redefinition to attain enlightenment and eternity. We will read texts by Cristina Campo, Emily Dickinson, Raüssa Oumançoff Maritain, Antonia Pozzi, Fernanda Romagnoli, Simone Weil.
Participants in the reading group are welcome to bring texts to share in order to deepen this reflection on transcendence and rebirth.
Ethereal Society of Poetry (ESP) is a project conceived by Davide La Montagna and Deborah Martino, born from the desire to raise awareness, promote, and make poetry accessible through collective and participative readings.
Saints Comètes 01 is the third event of Vibrant Natures. On Decay and Rebirth and will be in italian. The next event is on Saturday, February 24th, h. 18 at Almanac Inn, Via Reggio 13, Turin, with the opening of the exhibition الماء والشطابة حتى لقاع البحر Acqua e scopa fino in fondo al mare by Soukaina Abrour.

Ethereal Society of Poetry
Ethereal Society of Poetry (ESP) is a project conceived by Davide La Montagna (Italy, 1992) and Deborah Martino (Italy, 1997), born from the desire to raise awareness, promote, and make poetry accessible through group readings. ESP is conceived as a meeting platform in the form of presentations, readings, conversations, or roundtables open to all, to take place in a free and safe environment.
Saints Comètes 01 is part of Vibrant Natures. On Decay and Rebirth, a project realized by Almanac Inn, Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea, and Orti Generali.
The project is supported by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione CRT and Regione Piemonte.
